These terms govern your use of Pinch, a recipe, meal-planning, shopping-list, and hands-free cooking app. By using Pinch, you agree to these terms and to Pinch's Privacy Policy.

The service

Pinch helps you import, organize, plan, and cook recipes, including AI-assisted recipe import, photo generation, and hands-free commands. Some features work offline; others require an internet connection and, optionally, a Pinch account.

Accounts

You may use Pinch as a guest or sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be old enough to consent to use of the AI and third-party services Pinch relies on under the laws of your country.

Your content

Recipes, photos, notes, and other content you create, import, or upload remain yours. By importing a recipe from a link, video, or photo, you confirm you have the right to do so and to have Pinch process it. Pinch does not claim ownership of your content and uses it to provide the app's features.

Imported and AI-generated content

Recipes imported from third-party sources remain the property of their original creators; Pinch is not affiliated with those platforms. AI-assisted features can make mistakes. Always check ingredient lists and instructions yourself before cooking or eating, especially if you have allergies or a medical dietary restriction. Pinch's dietary flags and nutrition estimates are conveniences, not medical advice.

Acceptable use

Do not use Pinch to import or share content you do not have the right to use, abuse or overload Pinch's backend or AI services, or attempt to access another user's account or data. Pinch may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.

Third-party services

Pinch relies on third-party services, including Apple, Google, Google Gemini, Supabase, and weather providers, to provide certain features. Your use of those features may also be subject to those providers' terms.

Disclaimers and liability

Pinch is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Pinch does not guarantee that recipes, timers, substitutions, or AI-generated content will be accurate, safe, or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for food safety, cooking times, and dietary decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pinch and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

Changes and contact

Pinch may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Questions can be sent to support@getpinchapp.com.
